#GivingTuesday is Not Just a Day. It's a Movement.
Giving Tuesday was created to bring us all together in a day celebrating generosity, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. At Habitat Waukesha, we believe everyone deserves a place to call home. Affordable housing is scarce in Waukesha County. Over 25% of Waukesha County families pay more than 30% of their income for housing. This means these families have difficulty deciding between paying for housing or basic living expenses. Most times, health care and putting aside savings for the future are forgotten entirely due to financial restraints caused by high housing costs.
That's Where You Come in.
All donations made to Habitat Waukesha during this #GivingTuesday go directly to support affordable housing for Waukesha families. We are building three duplexes on White Rock Avenue to house six deserving families. This spring, we'll begin construction on our first-ever subdivision, completing 20 homes in the next three years because of generous donations from supporters like you.
